Parties to the Agreement

Wireless guest network user (”hereinafter referred to as the User”).

Subject matter of the Agreement

Limited access to TietoAkseli’s wireless network (hereinafter referred to as the ”Service”)

Purpose of the Agreement

The purpose of the Agreement is to enable the User to use TietoAkseli’s wireless guest network for a short period of time when visiting TietoAkseli’s premises.

Acceptable use

The Service is intended for short-term use by visitors to TietoAkseli’s premises, for example, for internet browsing, accessing email, performing work tasks and remote meetings. The Service is not intended for unnecessary entertainment use.

Formation of the Agreement

An Agreement between the parties is formed when the User connects to the TietoAkseli Service and enters the identification information required for the use of the Service. These terms of use of the Service are available to the User via the link in the ticket containing the identification information of the Service. If the User does not accept the terms of use, the Service may not be used.

Description of the Service

TietoAkseli offers the User a wireless network with limited features and free of charge for short-term use at its offices. TietoAkseli reserves the right to change the Service or its content if necessary. TietoAkseli filters and restricts the data traffic transmitted through the Service in accordance with its policies in force at any given time in order to prevent malicious web content and known information security threats. The capacity available for the Service may also be limited.

TietoAkseli may collect and process technical identification data necessary in connection with the use of the Service, such as IP addresses and device information, in order to provide the Service and to ensure data security. Further information on the processing of personal data is available in TietoAkseli’s privacy policy.

Terms of Service

When using the Service, the User commits

a) not to burden the Service intentionally or through gross negligence in a manner that degrades the quality of the Service for other users or causes the Service to cease functioning
b) not to investigate the technical structure and functionality of the Service or the TietoAkseli data network;
c) not to eavesdrop on or record the data traffic of the Service
d) not to compromise the security of the Service intentionally or through negligent conduct
e) not to use the Service for commercial purposes;
f) not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
g) not to infringe the rights of any third party using the Service
h) not to use the Service to spread viruses, malware, offensive or obscene material
i) to connect only devices that are known to be safe and free of malware to the Service

Limitation of liability

TietoAkseli is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages that may be caused to the User by the use of the Service or its unavailability. TietoAkseli is not responsible for any harm or damage caused to the User’s terminal devices arising from the use of the Service. TietoAkseli does not guarantee that the Service will always be available without interruptions, continuously, securely, or without material delay or interruption.

User’s liability for damages

The User is responsible for all their actions in and through the Service.

Security

TietoAkseli is not responsible for the information security of the User’s terminal device, communications or data transmissions. TietoAkseli recommends that the User follows appropriate information security practices and techniques to protect their terminal device and data traffic.

Amendment of the Agreement

TietoAkseli reserves the right to modify the Service or its content at its sole discretion. If the User does not agree to the change in the terms of the Agreement, the Agreement will be terminated, and the User will not be allowed to use the Service.

Assignment of the Agreement

The User is not entitled to transfer this Agreement to any third party.

Termination of the Agreement

TietoAkseli may terminate the Agreement if it has reason to suspect that the User has acted in violation of the terms of the Agreement or that the information security of the Service has been compromised. TietoAkseli may also terminate the Agreement at its sole discretion.
